MD house- design development

MD House is situated in a neighbourhood of traditional early 1930s weatherboard cottages and unsympathetic new builds. The house maintains this local character while looking for innovative ways to address the garden and promote solar passive design to the rear. A courtyard allows natural light, and fresh air to all rooms and promotes outdoor living with indoor spaces that feel like outdoor spaces and outdoor spaces that provide shelter from weather.
